Hamid Reza Mohagheghi is a professor and researcher at the University of Toronto whose work focuses on psychology, consumer behavior, behavioral science, decision-making, technology, and marketing.
His professional background spans academic research and experience with major organizations in Canada and Iran. From 2005 to 2009, he worked with MAPNA Group. From 2009 to 2015, he worked with Iran Khodro. From 2016 to 2026, his professional experience included the Bank of Canada.
His work and research interests focus on the application of psychology and behavioral science to consumer behavior, decision-making, marketing, technology adoption, and human–technology interaction.
